Train your Children with Patience, Correct them in Love, Don't Discipline them out of hatred

Jaachynma N.E. Agu
About This Quote

The first line of the famous French poem “Aujourd’hui” suggests that children should be taught to be well-behaved and happy, but not disciplined. The second line tells us to correct them in love. The third line tells us to discipline them out of hatred. In other words, we should give our children the tools to grow up well-behaved and happy but not from a place of hatred or revenge, instead from a place of love.
